Albino Monocled Cobra

The Albino Monocled Cobra (Naja kaouthia) is a striking colour variation of the monocled cobra, known for its pale yellow, cream and white colouring, often accompanied by pink or red eyes. Albinism reduces melanin pigmentation, producing a dramatically lighter appearance than the normally pigmented form.

This female is a distinctive example of this colour variation. As a highly venomous species, the monocled cobra requires an appropriately experienced keeper and suitable facilities.
