Anery Kenyan Sand Boa

The Anery Kenyan Sand Boa (Eryx colubrinus) is a striking colour morph of the Kenyan Sand Boa, characterised by reduced red and orange pigmentation that produces a predominantly grey, silver, cream and dark-patterned appearance.

Kenyan Sand Boas are small, stout-bodied, fossorial snakes native to northern and eastern Africa. Their specialised body shape and burrowing lifestyle make them particularly well adapted to spending much of their time beneath the substrate, where they ambush passing prey.

The Anery morph offers a distinctive alternative to the naturally coloured Kenyan Sand Boa while retaining the characteristic compact build and burrowing behaviour of the species.
