Black Pastel Het Pied Ball Python

The Ball Python (Python regius) is a popular African python known for its manageable size and remarkable variety of colour and pattern morphs. The Black Pastel morph is recognised for its darker overall appearance, often featuring deep brown or black tones and altered patterning. Black Pastel is an incomplete-dominant (commonly called co-dominant) trait.

Het Pied means this animal carries one copy of the recessive Piebald gene but does not visually express the Pied pattern. When paired appropriately, a het Pied animal can produce visually Pied offspring.

This young adult male combines the dark appearance of Black Pastel with the potential breeding value of carrying the Pied gene.
